Dream Turns to Detention: Man Steals Bus in Buenos Aires

A man was apprehended in Buenos Aires after joyriding on a stolen city bus, claiming it was his lifelong aspiration. The bizarre incident unfolded early Sunday morning in Pontevedra, where the man took a bus from the Empresa 216 depot.
Beginning his escapade around 6:30 AM, the man drove the bus along its usual route for several kilometers, even picking up unsuspecting passengers who were none the wiser. Dressed in a company shirt, he blended in seamlessly until the situation unraveled when he collided with another company vehicle, prompting the driver to alert authorities.
Police quickly located the bus in southern Morón, where an officer disguised as a passenger arrested the driver. He expressed his intent to fulfill his dream of becoming a bus driver. The Morón Prosecutor’s Office is now involved, with a psychiatric evaluation ordered to assess the man’s fitness for charges.
