England has claimed a decisive 194-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test at Lord’s, ensuring an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Set a daunting target of 389 runs, Pakistan faltered and was dismissed for just 194 runs on day four, following a dismal performance in their first innings.

Ollie Robinson was once again pivotal for England, capturing 4 wickets for just 24 runs, adding to his impressive figures of 4-11 in Pakistan's first innings, which saw them bowled out for a mere 110. Although the hosts dominated, Saud Shakeel's commendable 97 offered a glimmer of hope for the visitors, who struggled at 14-3 before his efforts brought some respectability to the scorecard.

This victory marks England's first multi-match Test series win since their triumph in New Zealand last year, following a comprehensive win by an innings and 103 runs in the first Test at Headingley. Pakistan has yet to reach a total of 200 runs in the series, having previously scored 171 and 135 in the first Test. Captain Babar Azam acknowledged the team’s batting shortcomings, praising Shakeel's contributions.
