EU Enforces Stringent Online Safety Regulations on ChatGPT and Reddit

The European Commission announced on Monday that OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Reddit, and Roblox will be classified as very large online platforms under the EU Digital Services Act. This categorization brings stricter obligations, including the removal of illegal content and enhanced protections for minors.
Failure to comply could result in fines of up to 6% of global revenue.
