After requesting my personal data from McDonald's, I was surprised to receive a detailed 515-page report on my app usage. Intrigued by what other companies might hold, I submitted over 100 data requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
The CCPA, enacted in 2020, grants consumers rights including opting out of data sales, deleting personal information, and accessing their data.
