Fuel Rationing Returns to Moscow Gas Stations

Moscow's gas stations are once again imposing limits on fuel purchases, as reported by RBC. Gazprom Neft has set a cap of 60 liters per customer, while Tatneft allows 50 liters of gasoline and 60 liters of diesel.
Amid these restrictions, the city is grappling with a shortage of AI-95 gasoline, available at only one Neftmagistrali station as of August 18. Fuel sales limits were first introduced in June but were lifted until a resurgence of the fuel crisis in early August.
As of August 16, only 28% of Russian gas stations offered gasoline and diesel, according to Izvestia. Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev confirmed that while fuel is accessible, long lines are forming at many stations.
