Harry Styles paid a touching homage to country music legend Dolly Parton during the opening night of his Madison Square Garden residency on Wednesday. Before performing Parton’s iconic 1974 track, "I Will Always Love You," Styles addressed the audience, saying, "Dolly, we love you. Thank you so much."
Among the star-studded audience were actress Drew Barrymore and CBS Mornings host Gayle King, both seen singing along as the tribute unfolded.
This heartfelt moment comes shortly after the sad news of Parton’s passing at the age of 80 due to cancer, confirmed by her representative. Tributes from numerous celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, followed her death, highlighting her immense influence.
Styles' residency at Madison Square Garden, part of his Together, Together Tour, is set to continue through Halloween, featuring a lineup of 30 shows.
