Perched along the stunning Black Sea coast in Shekvetili, Georgia, Hecate's Garden is redefining the dining experience by intertwining ancient mythology with modern gastronomy. This unique culinary destination is housed within a sprawling glass greenhouse, inspired by the legendary priestess Medea and her connection to the world’s first botanical garden.
The venue boasts nearly 100 plant varieties that not only enhance its aesthetic but also serve as the core ingredients for its pescetarian kitchen and bar. Guests are encouraged to explore the lush surroundings, selecting live plants to take home while enjoying fresh, on-site harvested ingredients, thus merging nature with the dining journey.
Designed in collaboration with Belgian firm SEMPRE Design Build, the garden's architecture reflects the rich cultural heritage of ancient Colchis. The interior showcases organic shapes and artisanal craftsmanship, seamlessly blending the coastal landscape with contemporary design.
In a dedicated nook, visitors can find a range of botanical products, including custom teas and candles, further enhancing their experience. At the heart of the space is a bespoke table adorned with hand-painted ceramic tiles that reinterpret ancient motifs, allowing for a deeper connection to the region's mythological roots. With a beverage menu featuring local wines from Guria, Hecate's Garden offers a fresh take on narrative-driven hospitality.
