Max Verstappen Extends Red Bull Contract Until 2030

Max Verstappen's future in Formula One is secure, as he has signed a contract extension with Red Bull Racing that runs through 2030, the team announced on Thursday. This news comes just ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, where Verstappen will race in front of his home crowd at Zandvoort.

The 28-year-old driver, who has secured four consecutive world championships since 2021, is currently navigating a challenging season, sitting sixth in the drivers' standings after a difficult first half of the year.

Red Bull expressed that this agreement symbolizes a strong bond of trust and ambition between the team and Verstappen. Despite speculations regarding his potential departure due to the team's recent performance, Verstappen remains optimistic about returning to winning form. He stated, “We have the best people and I’m excited to keep working together with everyone to get back to the top again.” As he prepares for the race, he will wear a special helmet inspired by traditional blue Delft pottery, adding a personal touch to the occasion.
