By Editor • August 28, 2026 • 1 min read

Nike is gearing up for an exciting September, unveiling a diverse range of sneakers that could help shift its current stock market woes. Among the highlights are the Pegasus Plus 2, featuring a revolutionary curved Air Zoom unit, and the Hyperslide, a collaboration with Hyperice that integrates advanced recovery technologies like vibration and heat.

The month kicks off on September 3, showcasing several releases including a revamped Air Max 95, which merges elements from the classic design with a new shimmery finish, as well as Ja Morant's latest signature sneaker in a striking 'Dark Mode' colorway. Priced at $170, the Pegasus Plus 2 promises an impressive 18% energy return, making it a top contender in the super trainer category.

As September progresses, fans can look forward to the return of the iconic Air Max 95 with its 'Greedy' colorway and a unique mismatched version, both launching on September 8. Additionally, on September 10, Fat Joe's Air Force 1 Low will make a comeback in a fresh white and red look, appealing to sneaker enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Mid-month, Nike will release the Air Max Liquid and the highly anticipated Kobe sneakers, including a tribute to A’ja Wilson’s college mentor, Dawn Staley, on September 19. The Kobe line also sees two new releases tied to soccer, with versions of the Kobe 3 launching on September 26 and 28.

Concluding the month will be the reissue of the controversial ’90s basketball sneaker, which will hit stores on September 29. Another noteworthy release is a more affordable slide from Nike and Hyperice, launching at $250, designed for recovery fans who were deterred by the $900 price tag of the original boots.
