Raquel Lee, known for her roles in “The Amanda Show” and “The Proud Family,” has taken legal action against Disney, claiming she was raped by a former employee at the age of 14 during the filming of the 2001 movie “The Poof Point.”
In the lawsuit filed on Friday, Lee describes a pattern of grooming and sexual harassment by a middle-aged staff member, alleging he gave her alcohol and assaulted her while filming in Salt Lake City and on a return flight to California.
Lee's claims extend to Disney’s negligence, stating the company tolerated inappropriate conduct on set, including sexualized jokes and touching, while failing to provide medical care when she was allegedly intoxicated and unwell. Disney has not commented on the lawsuit.
