The governor of Kherson, Oleksandr Prokudin, has issued a stark warning to residents of the city, urging them to evacuate as Russian bombardments threaten essential power and heating services.

In a message shared on Telegram, Prokudin highlighted the deteriorating security conditions, particularly for families with children and the elderly. He emphasized the urgent need for those who can leave to do so, as the risk of prolonged outages grows.

Recent attacks have severely damaged a district heating plant, raising concerns that Kherson could face extended periods without electricity and heating. Prokudin noted, “The enemy is intensifying its attacks every day on the region’s critical infrastructure,” reflecting the ongoing dangers posed by Russian forces.
