In a groundbreaking partnership, Singer Vehicle Design and Louis Vuitton have unveiled two stunning renditions of the Porsche 911, marking their first collaboration at the Monterey Car Week 2026. Known for its expertise in restoring classic vehicles, Singer has taken its artistry to a new level by integrating the signature styles of the luxury fashion house.
The first model, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic, showcases a vibrant color palette of saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow, reflecting Louis Vuitton's rich heritage in travel and craftsmanship. In contrast, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, developed in collaboration with Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière, embraces a nautical theme, drawing inspiration from classic motorboats.
Rob Dickinson, Singer's founder, explained that the creation of these two bespoke vehicles was a lengthy process involving extensive collaboration between teams in Paris, California, and England. “We shared an enormous volume of renderings and design samples, ensuring every decision was made together,” he stated, underscoring the cooperation between the two brands.
The collaboration originated from a simple request: a Singer client desired a Louis Vuitton clock in their vehicle. This initial idea quickly evolved, leading to a comprehensive partnership that encompassed the entire design of the cars. The project not only resulted in visually striking vehicles but also emphasized the craftsmanship and attention to detail typical of both brands.
For the Classic model, a unique removable mechanical clock was designed by La Fabrique du Temps, Louis Vuitton’s Swiss watchmaking workshop. This necessitated a redesign of the instrument panel to ensure cohesive aesthetics. Inside, natural-toned leather reminiscent of Louis Vuitton luggage features yellow stitching and diamond embossing, enhancing the luxurious feel.
The exterior boasts saffron bodywork and a custom roof rack capable of accommodating luggage, skis, or a surfboard, highlighting Louis Vuitton's deep-rooted history in travel. Meanwhile, the Classic Turbo diverges in style, featuring wood accents and a design that mirrors the elegance of a classic yacht.
Both vehicles are complemented by exclusive capsule collections that extend their design ethos into clothing and accessories, including a Louis Vuitton surfboard for the coupe. Dickinson remarked on the thrill of merging the strengths of both brands, saying, “This was an incredible joint effort that celebrates craftsmanship and engineering.”
Though this marks the inaugural collaboration between Singer and Louis Vuitton, both parties express interest in future projects. Plans are already underway to showcase the cars and their accompanying collections in various locations worldwide.
