In a crowded box office landscape, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has once again emerged victorious, raking in $19 million on Friday alone.
The film is projected to reach approximately $67 million over the weekend, pushing its North American total to around $783 million as it enters its third week.
In second place, Anne Hathaway's "The End of Oak Street" debuted with $8.1 million, and is expected to accumulate about $18.7 million by Sunday. Despite a hefty production budget exceeding $80 million, positive reviews could help it remain in theaters longer.
Meanwhile, "PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie" secured third with $7.35 million on Friday, anticipating a weekend total of around $20 million. Following closely, Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey" added $6.5 million, bringing its total to approximately $504 million.
In fifth place, the documentary "Katseye: Wild Hearts" earned an estimated $2.2 million, projected to finish the weekend with $3.8 million.
