Star-Studded Obstetrician Exonerated in Misconduct Case

Dr. Liang Shuk-tak, a renowned obstetrician known for delivering babies to Hong Kong's elite, has been exonerated of professional misconduct by the city's medical board. The case revolved around allegations that she did not adequately document her reasons for administering a labour-inducing medication to a patient who subsequently claimed to have experienced trauma as a result.

The accusations included failure to accurately record the fetal head position and maternal details during the procedure. However, after a thorough investigation, the complaints were dismissed, allowing Dr. Liang to maintain her professional standing.

Dr. Liang's impressive resume includes delivering children for prominent figures such as actresses Brigitte Lin and Cecilia Cheung, as well as Olympic diver Guo Jingjing.
