Tragic Crash Claims Life of Four-Year-Old Boy in Newark

A devastating incident unfolded in Newark when a four-year-old boy was killed in a collision involving an off-road bike and a car on Churchill Drive, just before 6 PM on Sunday.

The child was a passenger on the bike, which was part of a group traveling with another bike, whose rider fled the scene. The 24-year-old man operating the bike sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Nottinghamshire Police arrested him on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, while a second arrest was made on Monday involving a 32-year-old man under similar charges. Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
