In a devastating incident on Thursday at Shin-Kanuma Station, Tochigi Prefecture, four workers tragically lost their lives after being struck by an express train. The men were performing weeding tasks on the tracks when the accident occurred around 10:45 am.
Fortunately, the remaining three workers escaped unharmed, and there were no injuries reported among the train's crew or passengers.
