Acer Unveils Compact Desktops for Local AI Processing at IFA 2026

Acer has showcased its innovative approach to artificial intelligence at IFA 2026, introducing two mini desktops that demonstrate the potential for powerful AI capabilities without the need for bulky towers. The Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation and the concept model Acer SFF RTX Spark are designed to handle AI tasks locally, minimizing reliance on cloud computing.
The Veriton RI110 is impressively compact, housing an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor and Intel Arc graphics within a chassis measuring just 5.45 by 5.17 by 2.05 inches. This diminutive workstation supports AI models with up to 120 billion parameters and is equipped with a robust memory and storage solution, making it ideal for sophisticated local applications.
Complementing this workstation is the Acer SFF RTX Spark, which utilizes an NVIDIA RTX superchip and features up to 6,144 cores. This design not only boasts impressive specifications but also presents a unique aesthetic, reminiscent of high-end audio equipment. While the Veriton RI110 is set to launch in late 2026, Acer has yet to announce details for the SFF RTX Spark. Both systems signify a new era in compact, powerful AI solutions.
