Carole Radziwill recently shared her thoughts on how her late best friend, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, would have reacted to her presence on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Radziwill affirmed her belief that Bessette Kennedy would have enjoyed her time on the show.
When asked by a fan if she still stands by her previous comments made in 2019, Radziwill enthusiastically replied, "Yes, I do." She continued, saying, "I think she would have gotten a kick out of my RHONY career. For sure." However, she humorously dismissed the idea of Bessette Kennedy making an appearance on the show, stating, "No!" but emphasized, "but she would’ve loved it."
Radziwill reminisced about Bessette Kennedy’s great sense of humor, stating, "She had such a great sense of humor about things, about life. She would have gotten a kick out of it." Andy Cohen also added insight, mentioning that Radziwill's involvement in RHONY was a result of her life circumstances, particularly following the death of her husband, Anthony Radziwill, in 1999. This loss came just weeks after the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of John F. Kennedy Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and her sister, Lauren Bessette. The impact of these events has been a poignant part of Radziwill's narrative, especially in light of the recent Emmy-nominated anthology series Love Story, which explored the love story of Kennedy Jr. and Bessette Kennedy.
