Emotional 9/11 Ceremony Interrupted by Widow's Call for Justice Against Saudi Arabia

At the annual ceremony honoring the victims of the September 11 attacks, a widow's passionate outcry for justice reverberated through Ground Zero, drawing applause from attendees. Terry Strada, national chair of 9/11 Families United, interrupted the solemn reading of names to deliver a poignant message regarding Saudi Arabia's alleged involvement in the attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives.

After honoring her late husband, Tom Strada, Terry expressed her distress over the lack of accountability from Saudi Arabia, stating, "25 years, and still we have no justice." She condemned the kingdom for fostering anti-American terrorism and accused it of supporting the hijackers who carried out the attacks. Strada emphasized the continuous betrayal felt by victims' families, criticizing U.S. administrations for prioritizing relations with Saudi Arabia over justice for those who suffered.

Strada also directed her remarks to President Trump, urging him to change the narrative by acknowledging the pain endured by the families and insisting that Saudi Arabia cannot maintain friendly ties with the U.S. while denying its alleged role in the attacks. Following her speech, a participant who identified himself as a relative of another victim echoed her sentiments, demanding the release of previously hidden government records related to Saudi Arabia's involvement, stating, "President Trump, you’re our last hope." Meanwhile, a civil lawsuit against Saudi Arabia regarding its alleged complicity in the attacks is moving forward in court.
