Ig Nobel Prizes Move to Zurich Amid U.S. Immigration Concerns

For the first time in over three decades, the Ig Nobel Prizes, known for celebrating unusual scientific accomplishments, will not be held in the familiar setting of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Instead, founder Marc Abrahams is heading to Zurich, Switzerland, for this year's ceremony.

The shift was prompted by worries that international attendees, including award recipients, might face challenges or discomfort traveling to the U.S. under the Trump administration's immigration policies.
