Indie Film 'Littermates' to Debut in Theaters and at Fantastic Fest

Scott Tinkham and Michael Woloson are set to unveil their indie film 'Littermates' to audiences, with a theatrical release scheduled for November 6 across more than 30 Alamo Drafthouse locations. This comic dystopian feature promises an engaging cinematic experience, blending humor and absurdity against a backdrop of chaos.

Before its official release, 'Littermates' will make its festival debut on September 20 at Fantastic Fest, where attendees can look forward to a post-screening discussion featuring the filmmakers and cast. Produced in just 15 days, the film stars Joey Bader, Kaylee McGregor, Oliver Woolf, and Jack Redmayne, with Tinkham at the helm of the script. The project was brought to life by a dedicated team, including cinematographer and editor Michael Woloson, and features an original score by Noa Margalit.

The narrative centers on two disoriented survivors, Liam and Mel, who seek refuge in a secluded English cottage during a mysterious war. Under the care of an enigmatic figure named Chester, the pair navigate their fractured reality, earning tokens for good behavior that allow them simple pleasures like karaoke and dance parties amid the chaos. Tinkham and Woloson describe the film as an exploration of sibling dynamics, presenting an unconventional coming-of-age journey amidst dystopian elements.

Michael Kustermann, CEO of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, expressed enthusiasm for the film, highlighting its unique vision and the bold storytelling approach.
