During a recent speech at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas, Vice President JD Vance found himself interrupted by a protester waving a Mexican flag, prompting a fiery response that resonated with the crowd.
As the protester stood defiantly on the steps, the audience erupted in boos and chants of 'USA.' Vance, who was speaking at the time, seized the moment, declaring, 'Well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your a** over there. I’ll buy you the plane ticket,' as cheers erupted from the attendees.
The protester, who also brandished a Palestinian flag, was quickly escorted out by security. Vance continued his speech, pivoting away from his prepared remarks to address the incident directly. He remarked on the incongruity of the protester waving a foreign flag instead of the American flag, stating, 'We all know, of course, that as much as that person may wave around a foreign flag, he’d much rather live in Dallas or in Cincinnati than Mexico.'
