Sonu Sood Provides Flood Relief in Nepal: A Commitment to Rebuilding Lives

Actor Sonu Sood has arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing essential relief supplies to aid those impacted by the devastating floods that struck on August 26, 2026. Accompanied by his Sood Charity Foundation team, Sood expressed his dedication to supporting the victims during this difficult time.

"We are here to meet all the victims of the flood. We just want to be with the people who are in need and will try to bring their lives back on track," he stated. The foundation is currently distributing food and blankets while assessing the ongoing needs of the affected communities.

As of September 1, 2026, the floods have resulted in a tragic death toll of 1,003, with around 4,000 individuals still unaccounted for. Sood is committed to ensuring that relief efforts continue beyond this month, stating, "We will make sure that not only this month but also in coming months, the relief keeps coming." Through his efforts, Sood aims to instill hope and help rebuild homes for those who have lost everything.

The actor is no stranger to humanitarian work, having previously assisted during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Punjab floods in 2025. He remains a beacon of hope for those in need, emphasizing that Nepal is not alone in this crisis.
