NBA superstar Steph Curry is set to make waves this week as he transitions from Under Armour to Li Ning, marking a significant shift in his endorsement strategy. This change comes during his annual offseason visits to China, where he will be promoting the Chinese sportswear brand.
Li Ning is capitalizing on this partnership by launching its first basketball sneakers bearing Curry's logo. Among the models being released are four colorways of the Way of Wade 12 and one version of the Jimmy Butler 4, each featuring Curry's iconic emblem, which remains consistent with his Under Armour branding. The Way of Wade 12 will be available in vibrant shades of teal, pink, black, and white, while the Jimmy Butler 4 will be showcased in an all-black edition.
The sneakers were first revealed by Beijing-based sneaker enthusiast @weocia, who shared captivating images of the designs. Earlier this summer, the brand introduced a signature golf shoe under Curry's name, but details about his personal performance basketball model are still under wraps. With Curry and Butler joining forces on the Golden State Warriors since a trade in February 2025, the partnership has already inspired design elements reminiscent of Batman and Robin, which were launched in November.
