Stevie Wonder to Celebrate Iconic Album with Anniversary Tour

By Editor • September 8, 2026 • 1 min read

Stevie Wonder is gearing up to honor the 50th anniversary of his iconic album, Songs in the Key of Life, with a special tour. This series of concerts will feature Wonder performing the album in its entirety, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.

The tour is set to commence in October 2026, kicking off in Birmingham, England, and will wrap up in Los Angeles on December 19. This will be Wonder's first official tour since his 2024 Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart tour, where he traveled across 11 cities. Although he has made several appearances since then, including notable tributes at the 2025 Grammys and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, this tour will be a return to his extensive touring roots.

Songs in the Key of Life, released in 1976, is not only a critical darling—having earned Wonder his third Grammy Award for Album of the Year—but it also features hits like "I Wish," "Isn’t She Lovely," "As," and "Sir Duke." Wonder crafted nearly every aspect of the album, producing, writing, arranging, and playing most of the instruments himself. The album is also preserved in the National Recording Registry, highlighting its cultural significance.
