During a recent appearance at the Irish Open golf championship, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism about the ongoing conflict with Iran, suggesting it could conclude shortly after the upcoming midterm elections in November.

"Iran will end right after - maybe before - but it’ll end right after the midterms. Gasoline’s going to drop like a rock,” Trump stated, emphasizing the potential for significant changes in oil prices following a resolution. He underscored Iran's eagerness to negotiate, stating, "They want to make a deal so bad. They are calling constantly." However, he remained firm about the necessity for a favorable agreement, adding, "I’m not going to make a deal that’s no good."
