Rikky Hype’s Showroom: A Play of Textures and Reflections in Kyiv

In the heart of Kyiv, the newly unveiled Rikky Hype showroom is making waves with its innovative design, crafted by Temp Project under the guidance of Anastasiia Tempynska. Nestled within a postwar structure on Khreshchatyk, the flagship store spans 160 square meters and artfully engages with its urban backdrop, directly opposite the historic Bessarabian Market.

Instead of opting for a conventional retail environment, Temp Project has infused the space with a dynamic interplay of materials. The design employs an array of tactile textures and reflective surfaces to create an immersive shopping experience that resonates with the brand’s identity. Large windows not only invite natural light but also offer glimpses of the bustling street life, enriching the connection between the store and its surroundings.

The interior layout is meticulously organized, featuring distinct zones for men’s and women’s apparel, sportswear, and accessories. Visitors are greeted by a reception area that flows into a central lounge and designated retail spaces, culminating in private fitting rooms at the rear. This thoughtful circulation enhances the shopping journey, allowing patrons to explore effortlessly.

At the core of the design philosophy is a diverse material palette, where rough plaster contrasts with the warm tones of cork and sculptural furniture. Notably, the inclusion of iridescent metal creates a captivating visual effect, changing hues with varying light and angles, thus introducing a sense of movement within the otherwise static environment.

Rikky Hype’s showroom is more than just a retail space; it is a reflection of the brand’s ethos. With its interplay of textures and architectural nuances, the store transforms shopping into a sensory experience, inviting visitors to engage with the space in unique ways.
