Miro's New Berlin Office Blends Creativity and Collaboration

Miro has opened its first dedicated office in Berlin, and it’s a bold statement about teamwork and creativity. Designed by M Moser Associates, the 27,000-square-foot workspace reflects the vibrant and eclectic spirit of the city.
Architect Ella Cain highlights Berlin’s artistic essence, stating, “Every person leaves their mark, just like Miro’s platform allows individuals to make their own signature or symbols.” The design features raw industrial elements like exposed ceilings and concrete, enhancing its edgy vibe.
A significant challenge arose during the design process related to a company rebrand, prompting the introduction of playful colors—yellow, purple, and blue—integrated throughout the office. Miro icons adorn surfaces, and a stunning 45-foot mural by local artist Vidam captures the city’s essence with its surreal urban scenes.
The office accommodates up to 120 employees, offering a mix of public areas and focused work zones. It features cozy corners beneath the mural and collaborative spaces separated by acoustic felt panels, creating an open yet intimate atmosphere. A lushly green library area provides a serene retreat, enhancing the biophilic design elements.
Cain emphasizes that the office was tailored for the local team, saying, “This office is a place of connection that feels timeless, but it is very much bespoke for the local team.”
