Missile Strikes in Israel Leave 16 Injured Amid Rising Tensions

In a dramatic escalation of hostilities, at least 16 individuals have been reported injured in Israel following two waves of missile strikes launched by Iran. This incident unfolded shortly after the United States targeted three key Iranian nuclear facilities.

Reports indicate that missiles struck various locations including Tel Aviv, Ness Ziona, and Haifa, where alarms failed to sound in response to the attack. Emergency services, including Magen David Adom, confirmed the hospitalization of 16 victims, with one man suffering moderate injuries from shrapnel.

Images broadcast by public channel KAN 11 displayed significant destruction in central Israel, showing a multi-story building severely damaged. As sirens blared nationwide, fragments of missiles were reported to have fallen in northern areas, including near Haifa.

The Israeli defense system has managed to intercept over 450 missiles and nearly 1,000 drones since the onset of conflicts with Iran on June 13. Following these attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abás Araqchi stated that Iran will explore all options to protect its sovereignty.
