Adam Scott Reflects on 'The Office' Audition Lessons

Actor Adam Scott, known for his role in “Severance,” recently shared a humorous yet poignant reflection on his audition for the iconic sitcom “The Office.” During a segment on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Scott revealed that his daughter’s acting class used his audition tape as an example of what not to do, contrasting it with John Krasinski's successful audition.
Scott quipped, “I’m just happy to know that in a prestigious acting class, I’m the subject of what not to do.” His daughter was reportedly embarrassed by the comparison, especially after the teacher recognized her last name and felt guilty about the situation.
While Krasinski secured the role of Jim Halpert, Scott went on to find success in “Parks and Recreation.” Currently, he is working on the third season of “Severance” and starring alongside Robert De Niro in the upcoming film “The Whisper Man,” set to premiere on Netflix on August 28.
