First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari has urged the Punjab government to launch a comprehensive investigation into the shocking murder of Hina Javed, discovered dead in her Rawalpindi apartment earlier this week.

Hina's lifeless body was found in the washroom of Askari Apartments, showing signs of severe torture, including a wire around her neck attached to a shower rod. Following this grim discovery, police have detained Hina's husband and a servant.

In a heartfelt message on social media, Aseefa expressed her condolences to the grieving family and condemned the brutality of the crime. She emphasized that it is essential to hold the perpetrators accountable and to ensure such acts are not repeated in the future.

The first information report filed by Hina's brother claims that her husband, along with his father and a domestic worker, were involved in the murder. Preliminary autopsy findings indicated strangulation, alongside other signs of violence.
