Both industry veterans with deep roots in sneaker culture, they highlighted the collaborative effort that goes into creating a product that meets both performance and aesthetic standards.
Chang, who has spent 25 years at Nike, began his journey as an artist in Philadelphia, deeply inspired by the basketball culture of the 1990s. His passion for sneakers was ignited by friends who wore Air Jordans, and today, he has contributed to numerous successful projects, including collaborations with basketball stars like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
On the other hand, Kelsey, a Chicago native and lifelong Bulls fan, draws inspiration from basketball legends like Allen Iverson and, of course, Michael Jordan himself. With 19 years at Nike, including nearly 11 years with Jordan Brand, Kelsey has played a pivotal role in product management and has overseen a diverse range of projects from footwear to apparel.
