Cabin Owner Reflects on Decision to Host ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2

Michael Kutryk, the owner of the cabin featured in HBO’s "Heated Rivalry," underwent significant introspection before agreeing to host the series again for its second season. "I did a little bit of soul searching about allowing them to come back," Kutryk shared with HGTV.

Initially, he expressed concerns over damage to his property, recalling, "First, I told them they scratched my table, then I named a very reasonable price." To his surprise, the production team was grateful for his approach.

Having been shocked by the explicit nature of Rachel Reid's source material, Kutryk admitted to being apprehensive about how the show would portray his cabin. Despite his reservations, he remains open to future collaborations but emphasizes his need for privacy, stating, "I built this to get away from the world." Season 2 is set to premiere in April 2027.
