Chris Hansen Acknowledges Robert Pattinson's Portrayal in 'Primetime'

Chris Hansen, the former host of Dateline NBC's To Catch a Predator, has shared his thoughts on Robert Pattinson's performance in the upcoming film Primetime.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hansen remarked on Pattinson's skills, noting, "Obviously he has practiced imitating me, and while I think it’s overly dramatic, I think there is a pretty good imitation there in the trailer." He emphasized that his family has responded positively to Pattinson's depiction.

However, Hansen clarified that while the performance is commendable, Pattinson's character diverges from reality. "He’s saying things I never said and doing things I never did," he stated, asserting that the narrative is fictionalized, despite being rooted in real events.

Hansen also expressed his concerns over his lack of involvement with the film, citing legal issues with A24 regarding the rights to his name and likeness as a reason for not attending a screening.
