Chinese J-16 Fighters Make Historic Debut in Egypt

A fleet of Chinese J-16 fighters has landed in Egypt, marking their first deployment to Africa. This arrival precedes the Eagles of Civilisation 2026 joint exercise, which commenced after a lengthy 6,000km journey.
The aircraft required mid-air refueling during the nine-hour flight, as confirmed by the People’s Liberation Army.
