The Dallas Wings have confirmed that rookie guard Azzi Fudd will not return for the remainder of the WNBA season due to persistent soreness in her right knee. The 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick has been sidelined since August 5.
Fudd, who has averaged 13.1 points over 30 games this season, is set to undergo an arthroscopic procedure in Connecticut early next week. The team has pledged to provide updates following her surgery.
