In a strategic move to capture the attention of younger consumers, Arvind Fashions is redirecting its iconic brand, Flying Machine, towards a Gen Z audience. During a recent earnings call, CEO Amisha Jain highlighted the brand's transformation from its original millennial focus to a more inclusive, unisex denim line aimed at the youth culture.

The brand, which has been part of the Indian fashion landscape since 1980, plans to enhance its product offerings and strengthen its online presence with a dedicated app and website launch expected in the latter half of the fiscal year. Additionally, Arvind intends to establish Flying Machine stores in areas frequented by university students, further emphasizing its commitment to youth-oriented marketing.

Meanwhile, Crystal International Group Limited is making strides in its renewable energy initiatives. The Hong Kong-based company reports significant advancements in achieving 100 percent renewable electricity in its factories across Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Through a combination of on-site solar installations and green electricity purchases, Crystal aims to meet rising customer demands for sustainable practices.

Catherine Chiu, the company's VP of corporate quality and sustainability, stressed that transitioning to renewable energy is not just a short-term goal but a long-term commitment. By utilizing International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs), Crystal is effectively minimizing carbon emissions and enhancing its sustainability profile.
