Diane Keaton's Unique Los Angeles Estate Sells for $18 Million

By Editor • August 21, 2026 • 1 min read

Diane Keaton's bespoke farmhouse in Los Angeles has officially found a new owner, selling for $18 million, significantly below its original asking price of $26.9 million.

The property, which Keaton designed with inspiration from Pinterest, features five bedrooms and eight bathrooms and spans 9,200 square feet. Notably, it was the subject of her 2017 book, The House That Pinterest Built.

Keaton purchased the home in 2011 for $4.7 million and later transformed it using 75,000 reclaimed bricks sourced from Chicago. Despite initially considering a white paint job for the bricks, she fell in love with their natural texture.

The interior showcases her signature black-and-white aesthetic, particularly in the industrial-style kitchen and a striking library with a black staircase. A guesthouse and a swimming pool enhance the estate’s appeal. The home first hit the market in December, shortly after the actor's passing at age 79, and has seen several price reductions from its initial listing of $28.9 million.
