In a delightful blend of culinary and fashion experiences, Sacai's Chitose Abe has launched the "Sacai to Go" pop-up at Le Bon Marché in Paris, running until October 11. This initiative is part of the department store's "Super Japon" promotion, designed to showcase the richness of Japanese culture.
Delicious Offerings and Unique Collaborations
The pop-up is located on the third floor and features an enticing array of Japanese food and drink vendors, including the historic Toraya, which has been crafting traditional confections since the 16th century. Other notable participants include Rocky's Matcha, the bento brand Iné, and the kissaten-inspired sandwich shop Benchy, offering a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine.
Fashion Meets Gastronomy
In addition to the culinary delights, the pop-up also presents an exclusive fashion collection. Shoppers can find logo T-shirts with MA-1-inspired designs and items from the latest Sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration. Unique merchandise includes tote bags made from repurposed fabrics, plush key charms in collaboration with art brand Peloqoon, and a boxed set of paper dolls featuring miniature versions of Sacai's iconic designs.
Le Bon Marché further enriches the experience with a diverse selection of stationery, souvenirs, and avant-garde Japanese skincare products, alongside a hand-roll bar, making this pop-up a true celebration of Japanese culture.
