Dolly Parton Misses Dollywood Ride Opening Due to Health Concerns

Dolly Parton was unable to attend the Friday launch of the NightFlight Expedition ride at Dollywood, citing ongoing health issues. In a pre-recorded message shared by Dollywood President Eugene Naughton, she expressed her disappointment, stating, “I was supposed to be there in person like I planned.”

Parton mentioned feeling dizzy and dehydrated, leading her Nashville doctor to advise against travel. “My Nashville doctor has kinda clipped my wings,” she quipped. Despite her absence, she encouraged fans to enjoy the opening, promising to see them in the future.

This follows her cancellation of a Las Vegas residency originally planned for September due to similar health challenges.
