Eccentrica Launches Unique V12 Roadster, Redefining the Lamborghini Diablo Experience

Eccentrica is making waves in the automotive world with the introduction of its V12 Roadster, an audacious reinterpretation of the iconic Lamborghini Diablo. This remarkable vehicle was unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, during the prestigious Monterey Car Week, drawing attention from enthusiasts and industry leaders alike.

Transforming the first-series Diablo into an open-top supercar, Eccentrica collaborated with Milan's Borromeo De Silva to craft a car that boasts over 3,500 custom components. The result is a striking balance between maintaining the car's outrageous heritage while enhancing its structural integrity. The Roadster features a hybrid body of steel and carbon fiber, with modifications that widen its track and alter its proportions for a more stable drive.

Under the hood, the vehicle houses a re-engineered 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which delivers a robust 550 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This powertrain is coupled with a six-speed gated manual gearbox and includes three driving modes, allowing for adaptability to various road conditions. The vehicle's classic hydraulic steering and modern Brembo brakes ensure a driving experience that remains engaging and tactile.

Led by Maurizio Reggiani, former chief technical officer at Lamborghini, Eccentrica has meticulously refined the car’s suspension, steering, and braking systems to enhance driver feedback. With only 19 units set for production, each V12 Roadster will be tailored to the owner's specifications, allowing for a unique combination of colors, materials, and finishes.
