Fatal Collision Involving Stolen Vehicle Claims Driver's Life

A 46-year-old man from Melton lost his life in a tragic accident involving stolen vehicles in East Melbourne last night.
Driving a stolen white Subaru on the wrong side of Barassi Way, the man struck two cars near Punt Road around 9 PM. After the crash, he switched to a Mustang, which was unoccupied at the time.
In a reckless maneuver, he drove the Mustang head-on into a Range Rover and a Toyota Camry, resulting in his ejection and death at the scene. A female driver from the Range Rover suffered injuries and was hospitalized, while the other driver escaped unharmed.
