Galaxy S26 FE Launches with One UI 9 at Competitive Price

Samsung's Galaxy S26 FE, priced at $699.99, continues the brand's tradition of offering flagship features at a more affordable cost. Notably, it is the first in the Galaxy S26 lineup to come pre-installed with One UI 9 on Android 17, marking a shift in the usual order of releases.

The device boasts impressive hardware, including a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. Powered by the new Exynos 2500 chipset, it features 8GB of RAM and a 4,900mAh battery, which can be charged to 69% in just 30 minutes with 45W wired charging.

Camera capabilities are enhanced with a triple rear system, including a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto lens. New software features like My FanCam and Horizon Lock improve video recording by automatically centering subjects and stabilizing footage, respectively.

With a modern design resembling higher-end models, the S26 FE also promises seven years of OS updates, ensuring longevity. Available in Pistachio, Blueberry, and Graphite, it launches on September 4.
