Get Ready for the 2026 UTMB Mont-Blanc: A Week of Epic Racing

Mark your calendars for August 24-30, 2026, as Chamonix, France, prepares to host the renowned Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) event. This year’s festivities will feature the prestigious 106-mile UTMB race alongside seven other exciting races, showcasing the world’s top ultrarunners.

Among the competitors, three-time champion Courtney Dauwalter stands out, aiming for both glory and a share of the $23,400 prize. For ultrarunning enthusiasts, this year’s races will be broadcast live in the United States, thanks to a collaboration between UTMB World Series and FloTrack.

The racing action kicks off on August 27 with the OCC 50K from Orsières, Switzerland, followed by the CCC 100K starting in Courmayeur, Italy, on Friday morning. Finally, the main event, the full UTMB, begins in downtown Chamonix at 5:45 P.M. local time. With approximately 32,800 feet of elevation change, this iconic race promises intense competition and stunning views.
