Google Launches Motion Assist Feature to Combat Motion Sickness on Android

For those plagued by motion sickness, using a smartphone in transit can be a daunting task. Fortunately, Google has introduced a new feature to ease this struggle.

Called Motion Assist, this tool mirrors Apple's Motion Cues, which has been effective in reducing nausea for iPhone users since 2024. By adding a series of moving dots on the screen, it helps align visual and sensory inputs.

Currently, Motion Assist is rolling out to Pixel phones on Android 17, although users cannot manually install it; it’s being added through Play Services in a gradual release.
