Innovative River Crossing for Cyclists Unveiled in Tilburg

The municipality of Tilburg, Holland, has introduced a unique solution for crossing the Piushaven river. Instead of traditional bridges or ferries, a chain-driven floating platform allows cyclists and pedestrians to easily pull the platform over using a manual crank.
Once on board, users can crank their way across the water, while the submerged chain ensures boats can navigate above it.
