Israel Threatens Further Action Against Hezbollah Following Deadly Strikes

In a severe escalation of tensions, Israel has pledged to retaliate against Hezbollah after a series of airstrikes in southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals, including several children. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz emphasized the nation's commitment to defend its military personnel and civilians, stating, "No score will be left unsettled in any arena." In reaction, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack, noting that an entire family had perished, with the Lebanese health ministry confirming the deaths of three children and two women. UN humanitarian coordinator Imran Riza condemned the violence, stressing the need for civilian protection under international law. Hezbollah has countered the accusations, claiming that the Israeli actions demonstrate a blatant disregard for civilian lives.
