Jeff Bezos Consortium Acquires Significant Stake in Liverpool FC

A consortium led by Jeff Bezos has purchased nearly 40% of Liverpool FC from Fenway Sports Group (FSG). Initially thought to be around a third, the actual figure stands at 38%, according to reports.

The agreement includes an option for future control of the club, although formal commitment is not required at this stage. Amit Bhatia, a British-Indian businessman and former director of Queens Park Rangers, will assume the role of vice-chairman, pending regulatory approval.
