Katie Martin Kelley Joins Netflix as VP of Communications for Film

Netflix has appointed Katie Martin Kelley as its new Vice President of Communications for Film, effective September 8. Kelley, a seasoned professional with over two decades in the industry, previously held a prominent role at Warner Bros. Pictures.

In her new position, Kelley will manage communications for a diverse range of projects, including live-action films, documentaries, and family animations, as well as Netflix’s international film and TV offerings. She will be working under Dani Dudeck, the Chief Communications Officer at Netflix.

Dudeck expressed enthusiasm for Kelley’s appointment, noting her extensive experience and past collaborations with some of the industry's top talents. "I look forward to partnering with her as we support Netflix’s ambitious global film slate,” Dudeck stated.

Before joining Netflix, Kelley played a vital role at Warner Bros., overseeing media relations for various sectors, including WB Pictures and New Line Cinema. Her career also includes significant tenures at MGM and Paramount. As a member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and BAFTA, Kelley brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.
