Mass Recall of Lundberg Jasmine Rice Affects Over 54,000 Pounds

By Editor • August 26, 2026 • 1 min read

This week, the FDA revealed that more than 54,000 pounds of jasmine white rice from Lundberg Family Farms have been recalled due to potential foreign material contamination.

Sold at Wegmans, Target, and Walmart, the recall affects 27,324 packages distributed across multiple states including California, Florida, and New York. The rice, packaged in 32-ounce bags, carries UPC code 073416040281 and best-before dates of February 1 and 2, 2027.

Consumers are advised not to eat the recalled products and can return them for refunds at the point of purchase, particularly at Wegmans, which has already initiated a full refund policy.
